The film King is a documentary, based on the life of yesterday year’s famous actor & singer Elvis Presley. The director, Eugene Jarecki, presented him as a very shameful character in this American documentary. The film showed everything about him, from a singer of unfulfilled dreams to showing his greatness; everything was presented in this documentary.
The film mainly focused on a musical road trip in & around America in his Rolls – Royce Phantom. The movie is filled with Politics & pop culture. It shows, Jarecki visiting Tupelo, Mississippi &Memphis, Tennessee, where Presley was born & raised & also reminds audiences of known aspects of Presley. . How he went on to become rich & famous, from coming from rags, is all one can see in this heart melting documentary.
It shows that even after so many years of the death of the legendary actor & singer, how a musical trip explores about him, how he lost his own name & then his becoming of a king, his country losing her democracy & later on becoming an empire. It is quite an interesting film & loved by all Elvis fans. A must watch, certainly.

‘Faces Places’ is simply unique and a tale of its kind. The film finds the legendary 88-year-old auteur, Agnès Varda teaming up with a semi-anonymous street photographer known as JR. This was all in the name of a whimsical tour of the French countryside. The duo’s plan is to drive from one country side to another. Apart from that, they are to call the natives to appear in the van that JR has changed into a mobile photo booth, and lastly paste huge printed material of the following portraits onto the environments their subjects call home. She was a woman already destined to leave an impact on film. However, it’s deeply beautiful and exciting to watch as this great artist commemorates the blue-collar NPCs of rural France. Notable about the film is the way the locals; i.e. the farmers, laborers, and postmen who are strangers to each other fit in. Precisely, Varda and JR aren’t justifying their subjects, but rather requesting them to corroborate for the images to affirm our existence of being bigger than our bodies. ‘Faces Places’ is a funny, moving, and life-affirming film that also managed to win the L’Œil d’Or award.

One fine day you are told that you have only a few years or months left to live. In short, the life which you had expected to stretch at least for a few decades is cut short into a period of a few months. What would your first reaction be? Sadness, Desperation, or Helplessness? Indeed it is natural to feel the tinge of such emotions when we are told about the indefinite period we have remaining with us.
But what next? Is it wise to wallow in self-pity and die even before you actually die? The answer lies with the brave faces and braver fronts put up by the exceptional patients who narrate the journey of their life in the series. How are they exceptional? They are the ones in the situation we are talking about-they are terminally ill and fully well know that they are short on time. But the weaker their bodies are, the stronger their souls are. They are determined to live each day as a blessing bestowed by God, notwithstanding their deteriorating health, dwindling energy and the fear of loss they can see in their loved one’s eyes. They are sure they are going to the grave laughing and celebrating. Indeed life is beautiful; just change the glasses through which you view them. The TV series “My Last Days” episode 1 is a manifestation of this philosophy. It salutes the indomitable spirit of the unswerving patients. They might be physically ill but display nonpareil mental and spiritual fortitude.
