Based on the acclaimed novel “Call Me by Your Name” by André Aciman, the film Call Me by Your Name is a strong romantic film that unravels a tale of a young man who begins a sexual relationship with his father’s assistant. It is the summer of 1983 in the North of Italy and Elio Perlman (Timothée Chalamet),  A story of a mature boy when his father’s assistant, Oliver meets Elio, Elio begins flirting with him and a passionate relationship develops between these two.
As Elio continues reading, transcribing while enjoying the visitor’s comfort, he learns that he is already an adult, yet, there is pretty much he needs to know. The strong affection that he has developed pierces through to his innermost veins which the end unknown.
Call Me by Your Name is directed by Luca Guadagnino behind the movies like; I Am Love (2009), Suspiria (2017), and Antonio (2015). The Italian film director is praised for the sensational and seductive story that he manages to display excellently. Though the love is termed forbidden by many individuals, it captures minds from all corners. This lavishly introduced film is set in the Italian culture, and it offers more than what we call filmmaking tactics.

Developments for Call Me By Your Name began in 2007, pioneered by Peter Spears and Howard Rosenman acquired the Aciman’s novel’s screen rights. This comes as the final installment in the Guadagnino’s Desire trilogy. The movie comes after the previous installments entitled “A Bigger Splash (2015) and I Am Love (2009). Despite the fact that the movie is related to sexuality, the style in which it is presented allures us all. You will find a variety of differences from the original material with the fact that the sources portray the events in the early years while producers and directors decided to portray the film in the present style. The leading actors are credited for their outstanding performances, most especially Chalamet and Hammer. As for Chalament, he first learnt how to play guitar and speak Italian before acting his role.
The movie received an outstanding ovation at its premiere night during the New York Film Festival. Sony Pictures Classic acquired the rights to distribute the film worldwide. It has so far won at least 3 awards, some of which include an Audience award and an Explore Award.
